DUCATI MONSTER 750 - URBAN TRACKER
THE CONCEPT:
The starting point was an injection-engined Ducati Monster 750, an iconic base with lines that left room for bolder reinterpretations. Mig's Moto Custom chose to intervene decisively, modifying the frame to make it more linear and building a new straight rear structure, giving the bike a more modern and compact silhouette. The heart of the project is the custom fuel tank, handcrafted to create a continuous and harmonious line with the seat. From there, an urban aesthetic develops, essential yet aggressive, reminiscent of the scrambler world without sacrificing versatility on the road. The result is a bike that we could define as a true Urban Tracker : minimal, solid, and ready to move with character in any city context.
CHANGES:
- Modified frame and completely rebuilt rear end with straight line.
- Custom-built, handcrafted fuel tank with a modern, minimalist design, built flush with the frame. Its line perfectly follows the frame's slope at the front and then continues straight, seamlessly blending into the new rear subframe. The shape is essential and clean, with simple, taut surfaces, interrupted only by narrower areas designed to accommodate the knees and ensure a natural, compact riding position.
- Bodywork with asymmetrical graphics in gloss black, orange and titanium grey.
- Matte black paintwork on all mechanical parts.
- Custom built footboards .
- Handcrafted front fairing .
- Rear stop integrated into the frame , minimal and discreet.
- PowerCore Evo 2 in 1 LPG exhaust in stainless steel.
- Fork stem covers painted in matt black .
- Handcrafted saddle in black eco-leather with Alcantara effect and orange stitching.
DETAILS:
Every element of this Monster was handcrafted, from the frame to the fuel tank, down to the windshield and structural details. The off-road scrambler-style tires reinforce the bike's urban character while still ensuring excellent performance on asphalt, while the contrast between the matte black of the mechanics and the glossy asymmetric graphics creates a contemporary and bold aesthetic. The black Alcantara-effect eco-leather seat, with orange stitching, echoes the livery colors and completes the visual balance of the project. The small integrated stop light in the frame maintains the clean and compact line, without superfluous interruptions. Completing the bike's identity is a Daytona Deva 01 speedometer , minimal and perfectly consistent with the project's style. The special feature? The bike sports the word "Deva" on the tank, chosen by the client as the official name of the project. A curious and fascinating coincidence, because the chosen instrument also bears the same name—an unplanned detail, but one that almost seems written into the destiny of this custom.
THE PHILOSOPHY:
This Ducati Monster 750 isn't just a custom build, but a complete reinterpretation. The idea was to take a naked icon and transform it into something more personal, more urban, more contemporary.
A project built entirely by hand, where nothing was left to chance and where every choice, both technical and aesthetic, was made to create a balance between aggressiveness and functionality. A motorcycle that doesn't follow traditional categories, but transcends them. An Urban Tracker capable of standing out, without compromise.
